Verification Policy

Verification is the foundation of the Ultra Luxury Jobs marketplace. It applies to both candidates and employers. This policy explains what we check, who decides, how long it takes, and what your rights are if a decision goes against you. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Why verification exists

The marketplace serves private households, family offices, and luxury enterprises whose hiring requires discretion and trust. We require verification so that every visible profile and posting represents a real person or business that has passed human review.

2. Candidate verification

Candidates submit a verification packet that may include government-issued identification, proof of employment history or professional references, and any role-specific credentials. Our team reviews the packet, may request additional information, and issues a decision. Decisions are made by trained reviewers, not by automated systems alone.

A one-time verification fee applies. During the Founding Member period the fee may be comped for a capped cohort — verification itself is never skipped.

Approved candidates receive the Verified badge and rank higher in search. Verification can be revoked if information later proves inaccurate or if the candidate violates the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Employer verification

Employer accounts must pass a business-legitimacy review before they can post roles, search candidates, or unlock contact details. We review the legal entity, the requesting individual's authority to hire on its behalf, and the nature of the engagement. Search firms, family offices, and private principals all complete the same review, adjusted for context.

4. What we check

  • Identity — that the person submitting is who they claim to be.
  • Standing — for employers, that the entity is real and authorised to recruit; for candidates, that the employment history is plausible and references are reachable.
  • Eligibility — that the applicant is 18+, has the legal capacity to enter into contracts, and is not on any sanctions list we are required to screen against.
  • Conduct — that there is no pattern of behaviour that would breach the Acceptable Use Policy.

5. How long it takes

We target a first decision within five business days of receiving a complete packet. Complex reviews may take longer; we will tell you if more time or information is needed. Status is visible in your dashboard.

6. Decisions, declines, and appeals

We may approve, approve with conditions, request more information, or decline. Where we decline, we will tell you the category of reason (for example, "identity could not be confirmed" or "documents inconsistent"). We do not always share investigative detail where doing so would compromise the integrity of future reviews.

You may appeal a decision once by emailing verification@ultraluxuryjobs.com within thirty days. A different reviewer will reconsider the file. The appeal decision is final.

7. Re-verification and revocation

We may re-verify any account at any time, including after a credible report, a chargeback, a material change in the underlying business, or an account inactive for an extended period. Verification may be revoked where new information shows the original decision should not stand.

8. Data handling

Verification documents are handled per our Privacy Policy. Identification documents are accessed by a limited group of reviewers, retained only as long as needed to support the decision and any later dispute, and then deleted under our retention schedule.
